IT Services Manager

Purpose of the job:

  • Ensuring that the Company’s infrastructure and its services are up and running meeting predefined SLA.
  • Developing infrastructure plan and capacity planning to meet business growth.
  • Managing and ensuring on-premises infrastructure and cloud resources are performing efficiently and providers are meeting SLA and compliance to the Company’s security policy
  • Applying and ensuring IT policies/rules are adhered and promoting it to the IT team and end users.
  • Ensuring IT Security Awareness for all employee in the Company
  • Working with IT Helpdesk and IT Infrastructure to ensure daily IT operations and service delivery are properly executed

Job description:

  • You will manage all operations related to IT infrastructure and service delivery
  • Understanding business cycles, you will ensure that recurring business process run smoothly
  • You will manage demand from users on IT services and supervise the delivery
  • As a strong technician, you will provide technical leadership, create and manage infrastructure plan and standards according to IT strategic plan and roadmap
  • You will manage implementation and enhancement of IT infrastructure projects
  • You will manage change initiatives properly and in a systematically manner to ensure availability, performance and reliability of the systems impacted by change
  • You will organize, supervise, and develop the Helpdesk and Infrastructure team.
  • You will escalate to CIO any new request that is not part of standard catalogue of services
  • You will communicate to CIO with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays
  • You will need to produce IT Service reports
  • You will need to respond to IT compliance assessment request and ensure IT operation adhere to security policy
  • You will actualize resources, reduce TCO, centralize services, study opportunity for cloud
  • As a strong infrastructure person, you will recommend technologies to be adopted to meet future business needs, prioritize projects, assign resource allocation.

Job Requirements:


Educational background

  • Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7 years’ experience in IT with various roles
  • Minimum 2 years in supervising IT infrastructure or same role
  • You have excellent IT technical skills on server, storage, network, security, voice, cloud services, server virtualization and business continuity and disaster recovery

Strong technical knowledge on

  • Relationship between application design, data, and infrastructure environment.
  • IT Infrastructure architecture and capability planning
  • Server: AD/DHCP/DNS, file/print, database, web, messaging, infrastructure application, business applications, remote access, virtualized.
  • Storage: DAS, NAS, SAN
  • Network: LAN/WAN/WIFI, VPN
  • Security: firewall, antivirus, IPS/IDS
  • Voice: Cloud PABX
  • Cloud services (infrastructure as a service, platform as a service).
  • Server virtualization (VMware platform, HyperV).
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery.
